Line & Segment offers two types of One-day class courses.

“Sunday Worksop”, which is held at the most beautiful time of the day with sunlight shining in the studio, and <Trial Lesson>, where you can participate in an existing regular class of Line & Segment. These two classes may have different mood, but the contents are the same.

Handbuilding—pinching, cutting, applying clay by hand—is the best way for begginners to get to know about clay.

Concentrate on the senses of your fingertips and have a peaceful time touching, feeling the shape, texture, and thickness of the pottery.

Sunday Workshop

85,000 won It is a class with cozy, warm mood with only 4 people held at 2 o’clock on Sunday afternoon, most beautiful time of the day with sunlight shining in the studio.

It is suitable for those who want to get away from complex thoughts and minds, and have wonderful time with nice people through craft activities.

Seasonal tea is provided before class.

Trial Lesson

70,000 won It is a class where you can participate in one of the vacancies of existing hand-building regular class of Line & Segment. It is suitable for those who want to experience Line & Segment’s class, or those who are interested in pottery but can’t make time to visit every week. If you take only one class, the course will be the same as <Sunday Workshop>. If you register more than three times, you can continue the same work like the regular classes if you contact us separately.

What Can I Make? Whatever you want to make, the teacher will help as much as possible after discussing the shape of your work. In average, one cup, bowl or small vase with one or two small cups are made.

Size and number of works may vary depending on the design or speed of each individual.

How do you glaze the pottery after you finish making it? After shaping, the process of drying, glazing, and firing will be carried out in the studio. You can choose the glaze color from the 3 basic colors (black, white, ivory).

If you want to try applying different colors or try painting, tell the teacher and make another reservation after three weeks. You can finish your work then.
